We are headed back to Las Vegas Jan. 2, does anyone think all of the Christmas decorations will still be up? They are all so beautiful, and one person in our group has never been there around Christmas time, and we were hoping they would get to see them. The Conservatory @ Bellagio will still have a Holiday theme until Jan. 5th. Myself and a Gf will be going in late november I have never been during this time .. and I am excited! I want to go during Christmas time, but it's hard when you have little one's at home. I guess we will wait until they are grown. Santa can't get presents AND a Vegas trip! Going 2nd week in Dec. can't wait! My wife and i really enjoy it there during Christmas time. When do they start putting up the Christmas decorations? It seems as if they get ready for "the big one" (New Year's Eve) with great anticipation. It is the day when hotels make lots of $$$$$$, so it is eagerly anticipated.

used wedding centerpieces for sale in houston txWhen I was at South Point yesterday, they had some Christmas decorations, but the major emphasis was upon New Year's, with Happy New Year balloons, etc. They should do what my mom and dad do - just leave them up for next year. Thanks for being a part of the TripAdvisor travel community! They live in the middle of nowhere. They leave the outdoor lights up around the rooftop. They are so far off the road that nobody would notice unless I told them. Sorry mom and dad, secrets out :) Just got back last night. Most of the hotels DID have the decorations/trees still up!:) Everything was really pretty. They were taking them down on the 6th at the Bellagio Conservatory so we barely made that! The Venetian still had huge tree up, Crystals, etc etc. Jess is right about Bellagio. A wonderland of falling snow (desert? what desert?) and lodge décor, the rink offers the most traditional wintery of activities under the bright lights of the Strip. The Chalet, next to the Absinthe tent in the front of the hotel, is open daily from 11 am to 12:30 am and serves up warm beverages, from hot chocolate to stiff hot toddies and toasted cinnamon shots. Rao’s, at Caesars Palace, loves Christmas so much that it keeps its decorations up all year.
The “Rao’s room” dining room is a replica of the original Harlem location, where current owner Frank Pellegrino’s Aunt Anna once ruled the kitchen. Years ago, Anna, a strong Italian woman Woody Allen once based a character on, decided that she wasn’t un-decorating, and a year-round ode to Christmas they became, with garlands, lights, wreaths, and big red velvet bows.
