christmas decorations in las vegas 2013

We are headed back to Las Vegas Jan. 2, does anyone think all of the Christmas decorations will still be up? They are all so beautiful, and one person in our group has never been there around Christmas time, and we were hoping they would get to see them. The Conservatory @ Bellagio will still have a Holiday theme until Jan. 5th. Myself and a Gf will be going in late november I have never been during this time .. and I am excited! I want to go during Christmas time, but it's hard when you have little one's at home. I guess we will wait until they are grown. Santa can't get presents AND a Vegas trip! Going 2nd week in Dec. can't wait! My wife and i really enjoy it there during Christmas time. When do they start putting up the Christmas decorations? We were in Vegas last December and I was actually disappointed - I thought the hotels and shopping would be a lot more festive than they were... wife and I have spent many xmas and new year in vegas and there lovely and still up

Will there be Christmas decorations in Vegas during the last week of November? "When do they start putting up the Christmas decorations?" " Will there be Christmas decorations in Vegas during the last week of November?" I am here in Vegas rite now, and the decorations are starting to go up! If you can make a trip to the Magical Forest at Opportunity Village, the decorations will be up/open from Nov. 22-Jan. 6th...Worth a cab ride(from the strip)! It seems as if they get ready for "the big one" (New Year's Eve) with great anticipation. It is the day when hotels make lots of $$$$$$, so it is eagerly anticipated.
outdoor christmas decorations lighted packagesI have seen them take down the decorations on Christmas Day or the day after.
used wedding centerpieces for sale in houston txWhen I was at South Point yesterday, they had some Christmas decorations, but the major emphasis was upon New Year's, with Happy New Year balloons, etc. They should do what my mom and dad do - just leave them up for next year. It would save them a lot of time and money :) momlovesvegas: You should talk with your mom and dad...everyone in town is laughling at them! -:- Message from TripAdvisor staff -:-This post was determined to be inappropriate by the TripAdvisor community and has been removed.

Thanks for being a part of the TripAdvisor travel community! They live in the middle of nowhere. They leave the outdoor lights up around the rooftop. They are so far off the road that nobody would notice unless I told them. Sorry mom and dad, secrets out :) Just got back last night. Most of the hotels DID have the decorations/trees still up!:) Everything was really pretty. They were taking them down on the 6th at the Bellagio Conservatory so we barely made that! The Venetian still had huge tree up, Crystals, etc etc. Jess is right about Bellagio. The Conservatory's Christmas theme is gone and the Conservatory is being redone right now (Jan 8 and 9) for Chinese New Year. -:- Message from TripAdvisor staff -:-This topic has been closed to new posts due to inactivity. After all, it is arguably the best place in the world to get “merry.” So what that there’s no snow in the desert that is “glist’nin.” It is still easy to get lost in the beautiful sight that makes us happy tonight: the winter wonderland of Vegas in December. Skate into winter with Caesars Palace’s first-ever ice-skating rink, open now until January 20th. A wonderland of falling snow (desert? what desert?) and lodge décor, the rink offers the most traditional wintery of activities under the bright lights of the Strip. The Chalet, next to the Absinthe tent in the front of the hotel, is open daily from 11 am to 12:30 am and serves up warm beverages, from hot chocolate to stiff hot toddies and toasted cinnamon shots. Rao’s, at Caesars Palace, loves Christmas so much that it keeps its decorations up all year.

The “Rao’s room” dining room is a replica of the original Harlem location, where current owner Frank Pellegrino’s Aunt Anna once ruled the kitchen. Years ago, Anna, a strong Italian woman Woody Allen once based a character on, decided that she wasn’t un-decorating, and a year-round ode to Christmas they became, with garlands, lights, wreaths, and big red velvet bows. Only have time for a drink? The décor also accents the bar. Window decorations at Forum Shops It’s not December without power-shopping, and Forum Shops does it right, with festive window displays that hark the pre-online good ol’ days of Miracle on 34th Street-worthy wonder. Stores that went full-out? Henri Bendel, Marc Jacobs, Agent Provocateur, Jimmy Choo, Ted Baker London, and Swarovski – to name a few. Festive PJs by PJ Salvage After a night out on the Strip, snuggle into bed this holiday season wearing these Christmas-y PJs by PJ Salvage. A long-sleeved top and pants, with a bright red tie at the waist, this nighttime ensemble features fun, festive design in the most luxurious of fabrics by the pajama company that counts Gwen Stefani as a fan.

Pick up yours in the Qua spa retail store at Caesars Palace or at L’Apothecaire at Paris. Peppermint Patty Martini at Sugar Factory If you take your peppermint straight up instead of in a candy cane, Sugar Factory, at Paris, has a treat just for you. Its holiday special Peppermint Patty Martini is positively sinful (uh, naughty), made with chocolate vodka, rumple mints, Godiva chocolate liquer, chocolate sauce, rock candy syrup, and a tad of heavy whipping cream. Swirl with chocolate and dust with coco power, and you might never look at another ordinary candy cane again. The main lobby at Caesars Palace is spectacular year-round, but there’s something special about seeing it decked out in its holiday finest. Two enormous Christmas trees (sparkling with more than 5800 lights) greet visitors, and the center fountain is brightened with rows of 330 red and white poinsettias. The elegant Roman statues are draped in bronze and gold ornaments and 400 lights, their rotunda in festive red balls and garlands.

In all, more than 1500 ornaments assure that Caesars Palace is in the holiday spirit. Legends in Concert’s Christmas special The tribute artists of Legends in Concert have gone all out for the holidays with special carols and even local choirs who have been invited to sing with them for the first time ever. Holiday hits in this special show, which runs through December 30th, include “Blue Christmas,” “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus,” and “Santa Baby.” The show at Flamingo, which famously features Madonna, Michael Jackson, and Elvis Presley tribute artists, finishes with a bang: an all-cast finale and tribute to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s “Christmas Eve in Sarajevo” (“Carol of the Bells”). Holiday spa treatments at Qua There’s no easier way to melt into the holidays than through the classic smells of Christmas. Qua spa, at Caesars Palace, uses pumpkin, cinnamon, buttered rum, and caramel in its seasonal spa menu, so indulge in a facial or body treatment to get in the mood.
